On the Farm and in Your Classroom
At Farmland Adventures, we’re excited to expand our education programs for teachers and students! This year marks our first time offering spring field trips on the farm, along with a new in-school experience where we bring hens right into your classroom for hands-on learning. Each option is designed to spark curiosity and connect students to real agriculture in meaningful ways.

On Farm Field Trips
Bring your students (public, private, and homeschool!) to experience hands-on learning at a real working farm! Our field trips mix fun and education with activities that teach kids about farming, crops, and animals. Field trips last about an hour but groups are welcome to be on the farm from 9am-1pm to play or have lunch in our pavilion. Just be sure to be ready to start at your scheduled time. Our spring field trips options include Thursdays and Fridays in April and May on a first come, first serve basis.
Includes:
The spring field trip includes a rotation of three stations-
1) An educational talk about seed starting with a planted seed to take back to the classroom
2) Our signature wagon ride to feed the cows tortillas
3) An educational talk about the life cycle of a chicken with live chicks and feed for the small petting farm animals
Pricing:
$8/ student (includes tax) Admission is required for all youth age 3-18.
Each student admission comes with one free adult.
Payment can either be collected at the gate or will be sent by invoice to the organizer after the event.

Let us bring our hens to you! Meet and learn about our hens, hear about how to start your own agriculture business and learn how to bring your passions to life through a business of your own. We will tailor your workshop to the age and subject that fits your group. This one hour workshop will be an eggciting eggsperience kids will continue to squack about!
